Biography:

Mrs. Lopez has over twenty years of teaching experience in the primary grades, including 17 years as a Catholic School teacher. Since joining St. Cyril of Jerusalem in 2018, Mrs. Lopez has been dedicated to teaching 2 nd grade. During the 2021-2022 school year, Mrs. Lopez assumed additional responsibilities as the K-2nd Grade Band Lead. Effective July 2022, Mrs. Lopez accepted to take on further responsibilities serving as the Primary Grade Chair. Mrs. Lopez strives to create a classroom environment where everyone can learn and that motivates her students to develop a passion for reading, writing, and problem solving through exploration and discovery. She embraces her students by celebrating their differences and recognizing their unique personalities and learning styles. Furthermore, she has many years of hands-on experience preparing her students for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Mrs. Lopez attended California State University Northridge where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies.
